This is a unique material with a characteristic rusty-red patina and velvety texture, and is resistant to corrosion.

Essentially, this is “smart” steel, which has learned to produce a patina on its own, preventing further oxidation and destruction.

This is a self-protective rust that preserves the steel core, making the material eternal. Due to the unique properties of corten steel alloy, its color changes over time. It comes to life, reflecting the passage of time, changing its color. And withstands any vagaries of weather.

The project by architect Sergei Tchoban received international awards, including the award for best building from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.

The unique dialogue between the façade and the sky is admirable. The facade panels in the form of a geometric grid are woven together like threads in a fabric. The alternation of flat and protruding volumes creates the illusion of weaving.

Located on the territory of the Polustrovo business park.
