The book of James, challenges us as Christians to live strong, faithful lives in HIM, in Yeshua. Works, good works are a natural result of that faith. Works are not the source of our salvation, but the result of our salvation. As a result of that faith, works are a part of that faith, or we should say: A result of that faith. A natural result of that faith.
2 PET 1:5-7, And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your FAITH virtue, knowledge, self control, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness; and LOVE.2 PET 3:18, “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. To HIM be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen”.
Faith is trust, but not just trust, but total trust. Faith is belief, but not just belief, but total belief. Faith is confidence, total confidence. Faith is total surrender. Faith dictates that we do not depend upon what our eyes see, but we rest upon the promises of GOD which we are certain of.
Valley moments in life are growing periods. You know that not much grows on mountain tops, great view so it is not to be overlooked. BUT the valleys are really where the growth happens. There is growth that can only happen in the valleys and through the process of pain of one degree or another. GOD doesn’t waste our pain or discomfort! It is a part of our growth.
