Summer evening railfanning at Noroton Heights Station! Featuring Diesels, M8's & delayed Amtrak.

Recorded on 6/24/24. I stayed behind for the first few days of my family's vacation due to work. However, due to a bad storm the day before, I ended up having off from work that day. So I wanted something to do for the day. So I ventured out to Connecticut to do some evening railfanning since it was a beautiful summer day. I wanted to catch some of the Danbury direct trains since they run later in the day compared to the Harlem line. This was worth it since permit and metered parking expires at 6 PM and that's when all of the Danbury directs go through this station. Especially since finding a metered parking space is tough at this station. We even see one of the Danbury shuttles in this video too. Amtrak wasn't having a good day since there were still problems with the overhead wires west of Penn Station. So most of those trains come at once in this video. Enjoy the action!
