Romans 7 – War Within

We do a deep dive into a very heavy theological discussion that Paul has, questioning if the original law given to Moses was a curse or a friendly reminder to everyone that we need to strive to do better. Romans chapter 7 alone shows us how deep the new testament is and just how serious the Christian religion had become after Jesus died. If we understand Paul, then we can understand why the laws were in place while also learning about how to maintain our own spirituality.

If you need help finding a good translation of the bible. Always look at genesis chapter 4:9… most bible translations are inaccurate and read “am I my brother’s keeper?”. The verse translated properly actually means “I’m not my brother’s guardian, am I?” The term used for guardian is “keep” as in a “castle keep”… it means “to guard”. “Keeper” alludes to some form of slave ownership, with which, is inaccurate.
