Does anyone know what anti typhoid means? It doesn't make sense to me.

Also, does anyone know if there were forced vaccinations just before WWII? Because when the nazis imprisoned all of the people, they sprayed them due to TYPHOID, and they said it came from lice, but now I'm wondering if it was a vaccine, but supposedly all of Europe was infected, so how can that be?
