June 28, 2024 | India | Heavy Rains Hit New Delhi After A Heatwave

The roof of the terminal building at the capital's main airport partially collapsed due to heavy rains. As a result, one person was killed, 8 people were injured and 4 cars were damaged.
According to the Meteorological Department of India, about 148.5 mm of rain fell in the airport area in 3 hours in the early morning. And 228.1 mm of rain fell in 24 hours, the highest June rainfall in 88 years.
