Multiple Reshoots EXPLODES Captain America 4 Budget

It is being reported the budget for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, film Captain America: Brave New World, has ballooned to $375 million. This would make it the second most expensive MCU movie to date behind Avengers: Endgame.

The production on the fourth Captain America film has been dealing with a lot of issues as the result of poor test screenings. This is compounded by the fact Marvel movies just aren’t selling like they used to with the last theatrically released MCU movie, The Marvels, becoming the lowest grossing film in the franchise. Captain America 4 has been trying to fix what Marvel Studios believes to be errors by bringing in additional writers for their reshoots as well as introduce new characters.
