Africa Today: Moroccans Reject Normalization With Israel

Hundreds of academics in Morocco have called for severance of ties with the Israeli regime's University of Haifa. This comes as the apartheid regime presses ahead with its US-backed genocide against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The academics noted in the petition that their actions and initiatives are in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians amid the Israeli crimes against humanity.

Moroccans have also held countless demonstrations to reject the move by the country's monarchy to normalize ties with the Israeli regime, a decision seen as a betrayal of Palestinians.
