Shonda empowers people to triumph in life and conquer challenges that block their spiritual journey. Her experience spanning 15 years in speaking and teaching combined with her transparency and vulnerability, fosters an intimate bond with her audience that fills them with hope and transforms lives.

With nine years as Production Manager with a Christian Publisher, staff positions at an annual writers’ conferences, a myriad of blog posts, online columns, newspaper and magazine articles (print and online), and with two published books (self and traditional), she is equipped to coach authors to write and self-publish their books with quality and confidence.

Shonda is the author of Appeal to the Courtroom of Heaven: Petitions for Prisoners and Prison Families (Iron Stream Media) and co-founder and president of Fortress of Hope Ministries, a non-profit organization that gives hope to families impacted by incarceration.
