Little Dog Struggles To Drag Her Bed Outside

Some dogs can go to sleep anywhere and everywhere. Can they lay down? Sure. Then it’s a perfect nap spot. Does the place exist in the world? Yes. Great, another perfect nap spot. Do I care where I am? Nope. There you go, another perfect nap spot. I have a dog, for example, who will just flop down where ever he is and start sleeping because he is tired. We have found him in some strange positions because of this.

Other dogs, however, especially little dogs, tend to enjoy very comfortable positions. A lot of little dogs, like Chihuahuas and Dachshunds are burrowers. Which, finally, brings us to this video of a Chihuahua-mix (I’m inclined to go Chihuahua/Dachshund, the classic Chiweenie, but what do you think?) trying to drag his bed out of the house and on to the sunny porch. I think he just wanted to have a nice, comfortable nap in the late afternoon sun. Unfortunately for him, he can’t quite get his bed outside and his owner is definitely not going to help him. Poor pup.

The dog drags his bed over to the doggy door that leads to the back deck. It’s a reasonably sized dog bed, especially for a little dog like this guy. However, it is far too big to fit through the doggy door. I suppose, if he could squish it down a bit it would fit, but he can’t do that while trying to pull it through the door with his mouth. Poor guy just seems confused by the whole thing by the end of it. Maybe he could try just lying on the deck and taking a nap in the sun that way? I’m sure it’s not as bad as he thinks!
