Adorable Kitten Ambushes Brother Cat In The Bathroom

Kittens playing together is like anything small playing with another small creature, always adorable. The two kittens in this video are no exception as they play with each other in a bathroom. Well, okay, one kitten plays the other one expects nothing and pays the price for it. But that’s why you keep your instincts sharp and your play button just on the edge of pause. You never know when someone is going to leap out of a basket at you.

I think one of the best parts about this video is the inherent tension that’s built it into it. The visible brownish grey kitten is sitting and staring at the dirty gold air vent in front of her. The whole time you’re watching it you expect something to come bursting out of the vent. If we added stereotypical horror music to this video it would totally fit. It is a classic of the genre. You make the viewer look toward one thing and then jump scare from a completely unexpected place. Like, for instance, a small wicker basket.

It is not clear why the first kitten thought his friend or something was in the air vent but the orange kitten displays some serious patience. While his friend stares at the vent he waits, and waits, and waits. That said, the brown kitten does look at the basket a couple of times. But he still very surprised when the orange kitten comes flying out of his box trap. I do wonder how the kitten got in the basket in the first place. He must be quite slithery. All in all, I would give this video a solid A, were I grading.
