I interview Steve Miller and we discuss the pitfalls many people experience getting into recovery, Steve's recovery story, and many of the misconceptions surrounding addiction and substance use disorders in America.
Steve Miller is the Project Director for the Mid America PTTC. Steve has 35 years in recovery, had led DUI counseling programs, been a drug and alcohol treatment provider and counselor, a professional fundraiser, and substance use prevention specialist.
Steven has extensively researched and studied the impact music has on influencing choice regarding substance use.
Steve is the host of the bi-monthly Prevention Perk Podcast, gave a Ted-Style Talk at NATCON 2024 (Link Below) and helped create the HELP Video Series (Helping Everyone Learn Prevention)
