Vaping Defeats DARE

The 2023 Netflix documentary Big Vape tells how Vaping Defeated DARE. The DARE program was a long-term campaign to reduce youth smoking. And it worked. Rates of smoking in youth have dropped since 1980.

However, almost overnight Vape products outsold cigarettes several times over among youths. It seems that, for now, the DARE program is on the back foot.
