The people of God began turning away from Him, leading to division and chaos. This is reflected in the church today, where many are forsaking the Word of God and starting their own churches with their own rules. We must be careful who we ally ourselves with and humble ourselves before God. When we praise God despite our circumstances, He moves and delivers us. We should praise God because He is worthy, not with a motive to get something from Him. Pray for the Holy Spirit's guidance when reading these scriptures.
