Do Politicians Pay Attention to Voters?

Leaders in Germany and France are now revisiting the possibility of dialogue with Putin. This does not mean that Germany's CDU leader Merz, nor French President Macron are responding to reality -- they are responding to votes in the EU Parliamentary elections of June 9 against NATO's support for the proxy war in Ukraine. The International Peace Coalition (IPC) is circulating a resolution calling for negotiations based on Putin's June 14 peace proposal.
