House fire reported in North Las Vegas

Firefighters responded to scene of a fire around 2 a.m. at 5029 N. Vista Del Rancho Way near West Washburn Road. One person was transported to University Medical Center. A dog and cat were also rescued from the fire. Cause of fire, which began in front room, is unknown at this time.
