Overcoming the Criminal Mindset: Relearning Resilience and Hard Work in Sobriety

Hey everyone,

Today, on day 138 of my sobriety journey, I'm delving into a critical aspect of my past: the criminal mindset. From a very young age, I was immersed in quick solutions like committing crimes and dealing drugs, which provided immediate money and quick fixes to problems.

However, these short-term solutions have created significant challenges for me now, at 44, as I work to build a stable, goal-oriented life.In this episode,

I discuss the difficulties of transitioning from a criminal mindset to one focused on hard work, resilience, endurance, and long-term goal-setting. It's been relatively easier for me to apply these principles to my workouts and sobriety, but when it comes to creating financial stability, building a business, and establishing a solid work ethic, it's an entirely different battle.Relearning how to be resilient and goal-oriented in my professional life is tough, especially when quick solutions were my go-to for so many years.

I hope sharing this struggle helps those who may be facing similar challenges.Thank you for joining me on this journey and for your continued support. Let's keep pushing forward together.
