If you aren't a frequent traveler it is often tempting to use a travel agent or a third party website like Priceline or Kayak or Google Flights to try to have a computer or service do your searching for options for you. But behind the scenes, nefarious things have to be happening and people who use this process often end up with fewer options, higher prices, fewer features, and more problems.
