FRIED SHRIMP STIR FRIED WITH VEGGIES IN A DELICIOUS SAUCE, SERVED ON A SIZZLING PLATTER! Check out my delicious recipe below.

SHRIMP SIZZLER I SIZZLING PRAWN RECIPE
Marinade Ingredients:
1 LB large shrimp - peeled & deveined
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste

Ingredients for making batter:
2 tbsp all purpose flour/Maida
2.5 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp soy sauce
1 egg - whisked

Stir Fry Ingredients:
2 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 green chili - sliced
3 spring onion/scallions - chopped, white & green parts separated
1 onion - roughly chopped
1 red bell pepper/capsicum cubed
salt to taste

Stir Fry Sauce Ingredients:
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp red chili sauce

Slurry Ingredients:
2 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp water

Other Ingredient:
2 cups cooking oil for frying shrimp

Method/Cooking Instructions:
Marinade shrimp - set aside for 15 minutes
Prepare batter, add to marinated shrimp, mix well
Deep Fry shrimp/prawns for 3 minutes, set aside
Heat cooking oil to preheated pan
Add ginger-garlic paste - saute 30 seconds
Next add red onion, red bell pepper and spring onion-whites only
Stir-fry for 2 minutes then add fried shrimp to pan
Saute for 30 seconds then pour in stir-fry sauce
Mix well then stir in corn starch slurry.
Stir fry for 1 minute more
Preheat sizzler platter on stove or in the oven, until hot
Place hot sizzler platter on wooden base
Transfer Shrimp/Prawn sizzler on to sizzler platter
Garnish with green spring onion/scallion slices
Enjoy!
