Post-Conditioning Pulling

First up, I hit lats with Wide-Grip Pulldowns. I love this specific cambered bar because I can literally try to forcefully pull the bar through my chest and the pad in the middle just has it bounce off my sternum as opposed to bruising it like most other bars do 😆

Next, I did my favorite Hammer Strength Horizontal Row but since it’s second in the rotation, I do them bi-laterally using the pad to pull my lats into a deep stretch before forcefully pulling with both arms

Next, for direct trap/rear-delt work I did some standing dumbbell shrugs. There’s not much ROM with shrugs so it’s key to milk as much mechanical tension as you can from a stretch at the bottom and pulling up and back at the top

Last, to hit the rear-delts I did some Reverse Flyes on the Pec-Deck. After grabbing the handles, elbows first pull out and back in a parabolic arc with the rear Delts as the prime mover. This isn’t amenable to heavy lifting so if you’re doing extra stuff to get your elbows moving, it’s too much weight
