Too often we, as photographers, overshoot. We take way too many photographs. Instead, we need to be like the old masters in photography and take our time and be deliberate about what we photograph. By taking too many pictures, we also miss out on enjoying the moment as we photograph. We need to take our time and enjoy the moment, rather than simply press the shutter over and over again and shoot away.
