Half Brother Full Family- Meet the McPhails EP #10-2023

Chris hails from the quaint yet renowned village of Cooperstown, situated in New York. Growing up amidst the foothills of the Adirondacks, he embraced an outdoorsy lifestyle, relishing activities ranging from hunting, fishing, and camping to snowmobiling and sledding. For nearly a decade, he was an only child, granting him unrestricted access to his grandfather's farm. In those formative years, he spent countless hours exploring and conjuring incredible adventures with his steadfast companion, Bambi, who happened to be his first dog, setting a high standard for all future pets.

After completing high school, Chris briefly dabbled in college life but found structured learning too constricting. His foray into academia revealed his talent for billiards rather than an aptitude for accounting. This led him to join the Navy, where, surprisingly, he underwent two years of training to become a proficient Nuclear Analytical chemist. His inaugural assignment was on an aircraft carrier, the USS John C. Stennis CVN-74, a ship he actively participated in building and became a Plankowner. During his Navy service, he crossed paths with his future wife.

Their serendipitous encounter occurred during a game of pool one fateful evening in Saratoga. Ultimately, his college experience prepared him for the most important game of his life – winning her heart. Nearly three decades have passed since that momentous meeting, and together, they have built a beautiful family comprising three boys, two dogs, and two cats. She is not only his life partner but also his closest confidant and soulmate.
Following his Navy tenure, the family relocated to the scenic state of North Carolina, where they have relished every moment. Chris now finds fulfillment in the latter half of his life by pursuing his creative passions, including writing, acting, modeling, and various artistic endeavors. He also appreciates spending quality time on the beach and enjoying boating activities. His ongoing projects are a work in progress, and the future updates promise to be nothing short of spectacular.

Jason's upbringing took place in upstate New York, an environment that nurtured his deep passion for horror and science fiction across various media, including movies, books, and games. Throughout his childhood, he immersed himself in video games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

As he progressed through life, Jason's interests expanded to include outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and fishing in the nearby mountains and foothills. After completing high school, he embarked on a brief stint in the Air Force, where he acquired valuable skills and experiences that would prove beneficial in both his personal and professional journey.

Following his honorable discharge from the military, Jason returned to upstate New York and enrolled at SUNY Delhi, pursuing a major in Computer Science. Beyond his academic pursuits, he is a fervent 3D printing enthusiast, relishing the process of designing and producing objects while continuously exploring new materials and techniques.

During his leisure hours, Jason can often be found engrossed in a movie within his preferred genre or embarking on camping adventures with friends. He also delights in attending conventions and similar gatherings where he can connect with kindred spirits and enthusiastically discuss all facets of horror and science fiction.
