Plot

Jim Kipp (Randolph Scott) is a bounty hunter with a reputation for being ruthless and efficient. He is hired by Pinkerton to track down three bank robbers who have been evading capture for three years. Kipp arrives in the small town of Twin Forks, where he senses that the robbers may be hiding. As he begins to investigate, he finds a host of suspects, including Dr. R.L. Spencer, his daughter Julie, and several other townspeople.

As Kipp digs deeper, he discovers that the robbers are not the only ones with secrets. The townspeople are hiding their own secrets, and Kipp must navigate a complex web of lies and deceit to uncover the truth. Along the way, he meets Julie, the doctor’s daughter, who becomes his love interest.
