If you haven't managed to cook today, if you haven't managed to clean today, if you haven't managed to have a shower or get dressed or even get out of bed, it's okay. This is what depression does to us. 💙
Please don't make it worse by beating yourself up and saying, "I should have been able to do those things". When you're depressed, you're ill and it's good to take time to be in bed and try to rest and recover, it's necessary. 💙
So please don't beat yourself up with things you haven't done today. There's always tomorrow. 💙
