Farscape - 1x13 - Rhapsody In Blue - Sci-Fi Channel Promo Re-Creation

This is a re-creation of the Sci-Fi Channel 15 sec Promo for Farscape episode 1x13, Rhapsody In Blue. This promo hurt my head. They did a bit of a change up, incorporated the water tunnel effect used when promoting actual shows and characters in Farscape. Sourcing the effects for this (yes, I didn't make these effects from scratch, I admit that), was a pain in the ass,... again. Again? Yes Again... The materials used to create this was originally on my failed hard drive. This promo back in the day, was aired more than any other Farscape promotional trailer I swear. I think it was mostly because an Actor named Darlene Vogel from the USA Networks show "Pacific Blue", was popular at the time and they figured it would boost Farscape? Reference for this promo came from my own capture from the Sci-Fi Channel, though Rhapsody In Blue was the last episode promo the Sci-Fi Channel had available to download from their 1999 Farscape website. They had discontinued uploading them and at that time is when I took over.

Anyway...

I decided it's time to revive these once lost promos. This promo is re-created using shot for shot what the Sci-Fi Channel used in their 1999 promotional clips during commercial breaks.

The re-creation process involves sourcing as close to original material used to create the promos along with adding poor-hancements. You may see areas where I messed up if you don't look hard enough. Footage for the promos are captured from episodes. Graphics are either scratch built, or taken from a source and 'made to work'.
