Rerunning candidate from prior races for the position, Sue Kuehl returns to make the running for the Commissioner position after the state of logging and forestry especially has been hit by the conditions including stagnation and lack of growth for small time lumber mills. She calls for updates to the way forestry is done in WA including streamlining for cleaner and more methodical lumber trimming and tree laying for the process of continual clearing of dead tree remains to prevent buildup and forest fires from occurring as what has reportedly been occurring with old rot from forest layouts in pre-planned tree acreage.

The Candidate Forum was opened up to the collection of local Clark county and multi county candidates for positions including federal congressional runs as well as Governor candidate of WA state.

The Forum has been highlighted to include greater numbers of attendees then other forums and is set to host Pete Serrano as a premiere speaker/forum hosting along with multiple other candidates such people as Gubernatorial primary candidate Semi Bird.

Also joining were Congressional 3rd District rerunning candidate Joe Kent, as well as a OSPI candidate David Olson who would go up against a recently controversial democrat incumbent who's made statements about reneging on enforcing a law for parental rights in education curriculum transparency despite the law being signed to enact it. Judge Dave Larson of the WA Supreme Court incumbent also were in presence to talk as well answer a question (albeit to limited degree as with keeping as a non-biased judge/justice) on the question of Texas and possibly WA looking at making State Electoral College for individual states within the union.

The Forum was hosted by more candidates and includes a Q&A that was raised in front of 400+ attendees of the Black Pearl on the Columbia forum near Camas, WA.

This took place on June 20th, 2024 at 4-10 pm on Thursday just after the Holiday of Juneteenth in WA state in Clark County.
