Barbarossa Visualized: The Battle of Bialystok-Minsk [June 1941] [Episode 2]

In this video, we examine a battle that involved over 1.4 million soldiers. The battle was one of the first engagements in Operation Barbarossa, and astoundingly decisive.

During the animation portion of the video, the actual amount Soviet tanks in this battle are understated. More than 5,100 Soviet tanks took part in this battle. However the majority of them did not provide operational utility because of severe disorganization.
