Hunter Biden’s law license suspended following historic guilty verdict

Hunter Biden’s law license in Washington, D.C., has been suspended following his recent federal conviction on gun charges, with the possibility of permanent disbarment looming.

The District of Columbia Court of Appeals issued an order on Tuesday, citing Biden’s guilty verdict on three felony charges related to his purchase and possession of a firearm.

These charges were deemed “serious crimes” under D.C.’s bar rules.

The court also announced it would initiate formal proceedings to assess whether these offenses involve “moral turpitude,” a criterion that could lead to automatic disbarment under D.C. law.

Biden, son of President Joe Biden, was convicted of falsifying information on a gun application form by not disclosing his history of drug addiction when purchasing a Colt Cobra revolver in 2018, The Guardian has reported.
