Netanyahu’s wife accuses IDF chiefs of coup against husband

Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reportedly accused military leaders of plotting a coup against her husband during a meeting with families of Gaza hostages, according to Haaretz.

At the meeting last week, Netanyahu expressed distrust specifically in senior IDF officers.

When confronted by families who emphasized their reliance on the army for their loved ones’ safety, Netanyahu clarified that her lack of confidence was directed at senior commanders rather than the IDF as a whole.

She repeated her accusation of coup intentions by these officers multiple times during the discussion, attended by representatives of hostage families and IDF officials like Col. (res.) Varda Pomerantz and Gal Hirsch, the Jerusalem Post has reported.
