My Dad and My Lad

I found this lyric sheet in my box of songs. I think I wrote it in 2003. I was picking up materials at the Home Depot. I met a man who was crying. I showed him where the restroom was so he could compose himself. He told me about his son in Iraq and losing his dad in Vietnam. It was sad. I remember I left and went to my truck and on the back of an invoice I wrote down these lyrics.
