The Acolyte is the Start of What Lucasfilm Has in Store for Star Wars!

The Acolyte has become a cultural lightning rod for criticism on how you destroy a beloved franchise. Star Wars has been on life support for years, but this was the show that finally pulled the plug. The poor writing telegraphed the identity of the Sith Master who is training Mae a long time ago. Affectionally dubbed "Smylo Ren," his identity has been leaked and should be revealed in the next couple of episodes to the surprise of no one. If you think Disney and Lucasfilm are learning any lessons from this failure, you have no idea what they have in store for the remaining fan base.

The Rey movie is still on the way with feminist director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy promising to have all the propaganda you body has room for. Fan attacks that have been normalized with the Acolyte and Amandla Stenberg's cringe diss track will be even more commonplace with the likes of Star Wars Theory being attacked on the regular for simply pointing out the poor quality of the show.

Things are bad and they are only getting worse. The self proclaimed good guys/they/thems believe they have the moral high ground, so they are destined to win. But it takes two to duel and fate has it that this franchise cannot prosper or continue if they continue to drive off the audience like this. Check Doctor Who to see what the future looks like for the brainchild of George Lucas. Spoiler: It's not pretty.
