🇺🇲🇰🇪: Hours after NATO named Kenya its biggest partner in Africa, the country went up in flames

Massive violent protests broke out in Kenya after the Kenyan parliament was stormed by protesters furious over tax hike proposals.

Protesters set fire to the National Government Constituencies Development Fund office near capital Nairobi.

Armed guards surround the Kenyan parliament building while a vote on the draft budget is taking place inside the parliament building right now as smoke bombs, tear gas and rubber bullets have been fired off by police struggling to maintain order according to local media.

Unverified footage appears to show protesters holding up live bullet casings that were reportedly fired into crowds.
