INGREDIENTS :(makes 8-10 sticks) 500gms chicken boneless cubes 1 cup yogurt 1 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup 4 garlic cloves 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper tsp garlic powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp red chilli 1 tsp sumac powder or Anardana powder(optional) 1 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp oil 2-3 bell peppers in cubes( I used different colors, you can use green capsicum too)
METHOD: Blend together all the above mentioned ingredients and make a paste.Marinate the chicken with this. Then thread the Chicken on skewers along with bell peppers Fry or grill for 10-12 mins at medium heat untill nicely charred and fully cooked. Serve with pita bread, pickled veggies and garlic sauce and enjoy.
"You can bake and airfry them at 200C and cook for 20-25 minutes. Flip in between and spray some oil for a nice finish.
Garlic Sauce (toum): 12 cup garlic cloves (around 15-20 cloves) 1 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1 cup oil
Blend together garlic and salt, into fine paste, then add half of the lemon juice and oil,blend then add remaining and blend. Add cream and blend again.This takes around 8-10 mins until a smooth consistency is achieved. And its ready. Store in a airtight jar in fridge and enjoy.
