More than a million of Gaza's inhabitants face the most extreme form of malnutrition – classed by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification as 'Catastrophe or Famine.' It can take months to declare a famine, but a child's body registers the harm in days – damage that can last a lifetime. Lucy Fielder reports.
