How to Quickly Test an LED (The Coin Cell Method)
This is a supplemental video to our page titled "Fundamentals of Electronics: LEDs".
This video is meant to demonstrate how to test an LED by using a coin cell battery. To perform this method of LED testing all you need is an LED and a coin cell battery. Take the LED to be tested and touch its anode (+) to the positive side of the coin cell battery (+) and touch the cathode of the LED to the opposite side of the coin cell batter or its negative side (-). If your LED is good, then it should light up (assuming your battery is good).
