That is any road that starts with the name CR but Van Buren County Road Commission managing director Bret Witkowski says local governments can apply for a waiver from the ban. That has happened in Porter Township. ORVs that are allowed on all local roads, cannot go faster than 25-miles-an-hour, need effective brakes and throttle, headlights, taillights, brake lights, and seat belts.
