The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the FAA are investigating the June 17th crash of a Lockheed 12A Electra Junior in Jackson, Georgia.

Three people were on board the 1936 Electra Junior when it crashed during an attempt to land at Seven Lakes Airport (62GA) around 8.p.m. EDT, the FAA said. They were airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta for treatment of their injuries.

Controversial YouTuber and AQP (Advanced Qualification Program) instructor Dan Gryder was in the copilot's seat. Gryder returned to his YouTube channel "Probable Cause: Dan Gryder" with video of the take-off from inside the plane along with audio of a portion of the flight. The plane recently went through maintenance repairing a strut and apparently was doing a check flight with Gryder providing AQP instruction.
