President Donald Trump made his stance clear on Saturday, endorsing the display of the Ten Commandments in all schools. This comes just days after a controversial new law went into effect in Louisiana mandating classroom postings. A new law signed in Louisiana on Thursday requires the Ten Commandments to be displayed in every public school classroom, including at colleges.

On Friday, President Trump made his support for the new law clear, giving an all-caps endorsement of the new law on his Truth Social media network.

“I LOVE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, PRIVATE SCHOOLS, AND MANY OTHER PLACES, FOR THAT MATTER. READ IT — HOW CAN WE, AS A NATION, GO WRONG???”.

“THIS MAY BE, IN FACT, THE FIRST MAJOR STEP IN THE REVIVAL OF RELIGION, WHICH IS DESPERATELY NEEDED, IN OUR COUNTRY,”.

President Trump suggested it was in part due to lackluster border policies instituted by Dems. “The reason the radical left will always come after religious believers is simple,” President Trump said. “Because they know that our allegiance is not to them, our allegiance is not to them, our allegiance is to our country and our allegiance is to our creator.”

The American Civil Liberties Union quickly threatened to file a lawsuit, arguing the law violates the separation of church and state. “Has anyone read the ‘Thou shalt not steal’?” the True President told more than 1,000 evangelical Christians at a Faith & Freedom Coalition conference in Washington DC.
