Flood, Landslide Alerts Issued In Pakistan During Monsoon

The National Disaster Management Authority has issued an alert for potential floods and landslides due to expected rains in early July across various regions, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

Moderate to heavy rains may cause flash flooding in low-lying areas, hill torrents in Dera Ismail Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Rajanpur, and urban flooding in major cities.

Landslides are possible in Murree, Galiyat, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
