What "Not Self Made" Means to Tisha S. Waddell

Tisha S. Waddell dives into "becoming." Having always bucked the "status quo" and rarely embracing pop culture concepts, Tisha never bought into the idea of success or failure being all her own. The notion that anyone could become who they are and accomplish little or much alone seemed like such a fallacy that she set out to talk with people from different walks of life to ask them a straightforward question, "What does 'Not Self Made" mean to you?" The dialogue that followed was so dynamic that she decided to share their responses in the hope that people would shake off the cultural ideology that success and failure are self-inflicted and embrace the reality that we need each other and that God created us to sink or swim together. His plan of community is infinitely wise, compounding our strengths and making up for our weaknesses. Not Self Made is a journey of the re-discovery of purpose and a celebration of collaboration. We hope you enjoy it!
