🔴 THE FAMILY is where you derive your identity.

• The break up of the black family has produced violence to an all time level.
—— the murder rates show that there is no disregard for human life.

ALOT of that has to do with the missing fathers. 👈
—— now that’s spreading to the rest of our society..

🔴 WHY WERE Black families targeted

• Black families did very well throughout slavery and Jim Crow
— had the highest rates of nuclear family.

• Then along came Lyndon B. Johnson and the war on poverty and the effort to push the MAN out of the home.
—— he brought policies that did not foster family development.
—— you got penalized for getting a raise. You paid more. However, the more kids you had out of wedlock, the more money you got from the government.

🔴 CLEARLY THESE policies weren’t designed to work like that, right?

—— Well… I don’t know… I wonder… Because Lyndon Johnson was caught on tape saying “I’ll have those n*ggers voting democratic for 200 years.”

The bottom line is these policies caused dysfunctional families and continues today in the rest of society.
