Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) criticized his Senate colleagues on “Fox News Sunday,” accusing them of attempting to overly control the Supreme Court through increased oversight measures.

Graham, who leads the Senate Judiciary Committee for Republicans, voiced opposition to recent legislative efforts aimed at imposing a code of conduct on the Supreme Court and creating enforcement mechanisms.

He argued that such moves amount to micromanaging the judiciary and specifically criticized attempts to scrutinize Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas.

The Supreme Court has faced scrutiny following reports of justices’ undisclosed trips, gifts, and other activities, prompting calls for more congressional oversight, The Hill has reported.
