That’s the look of a soul in the moment creating a piece of music.

I know that look because since December 31, 2018 that has been my look when I sit on my patented invention The Beat Seat and write a new song live on the air.
This photo gave me shivers and also brought me a lot of peace.

We all work daily for our families me as Mark Pires Real Estate: Coldwell Banker Realty CT/NY but I think we’re also on a mission of self expression. Some skydive, throw axes or ski. For me, it’s the act of asking for 3 words or a topic from a live audience and creating a powerful passionate song. Whether heard now or 62 years in the future.

The expressions, guitar playing, the lyrics, the BeatSeat they will remain beyond me. Looking at Grandpa here
I only wish I could time travel to this moment to sit with him and jam to whatever he was creating in this moment.

Thank you to my cousin Anthony Goncalves for putting this amazing gathering together, Family is love and origin, some are closer than others but we are are so closely connected at the root and time is too short to stay away from that connection.
Lean on each other. There will be a time in all of our lives when we will need it. 🙏🏼🙌🏼
