A Miraculous Encounter: Healing through Faith in Jesus,

On a fateful night, while I was "fishing for souls" at the age of 22 outside an old movie theater in Mount Union, PA, an unexpected encounter unfolded. Out of the darkness approached the son of an African American minister I knew well. I was aware that this young man had drifted from his faith and was deeply ensnared in drugs and alcohol. The world had seemingly devoured him.
As he staggered toward me, barely able to stand, it was clear he was in dire straits. "Mike, help me. I’m dying," he pleaded. He explained that he had taken a bad batch of drugs and asked me to pray for a miracle. Despite his previous avoidance, there he was, doubled over, clutching his stomach, his tall frame bent so low that his eyes met mine directly.
I guided him into the old movie theater and up the stairs to the restroom on the second floor. In the solitude of a stall, where he sat on a toilet, head hung low between his knees, I laid my hands on him. Calling out to Jesus for mercy, I prayed fervently for the drugs to be purged from his system.
I commanded the poisons, drugs, and alcohol to leave his body immediately in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! Instantly, as if God had snapped His fingers, all the harmful substances were expelled from his body. One moment he was on the brink of collapse, and the next, he was completely sober and healed.
He looked up at me, utterly astonished, and asked, "What just happened?" I explained that it was the power and authority of Jesus Christ that had cleansed and restored him. Standing up, he was in disbelief, marveling at how all symptoms and effects of the drugs had vanished.
This moment served as a profound testament to the truth of Acts 4:12, which states, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. "The heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, stepped into our world not only to save but also to heal, deliver, and set men free, embodying the solution to all the world’s problems.
