My younger brother and I dreamed as a kids to play professional baseball for The Chicago cubs. Nothing was going to douse that passion. My brother who was 11-months younger was the better athlete, taller, thinner, faster and a better player than I. People would ask why that was… I started asking myself and God that same question…. I would grow up with a poor image of myself… which would rear it’s ugly head for years when life got tough.
Many years later This one scripture passages changed my life:

1 Corinthians 6:19-20,
“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourselves but to God; he bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God's glory!”

It gave me a new perspective on who I am…and also gave me hope.
