BAPTISM: WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A CHRISTIAN

In this message, we talk about “Baptism and What It Means to be a Christian”.

Maybe you were baptized as an infant – that is actually what we would call “Infant or Baby Dedication.”

Maybe you were baptized in a church a long time ago, but it never really meant anything special to you.

Maybe you have never been baptized after coming to the Lord … I have some exciting news for you then. I will tell you more at the end of this talk.

We don’t usually “repeat” the Sacrament of baptism on a regular basis like we do for the Sacrament of Communion. This is because these are different Sacraments that represent and declare different things.

Usually, once you are baptized you do not need to repeat it. But … maybe you are feeling like you want to be baptized again because now you have a better understanding of what it means to you as a Christian …

Or maybe you want to re-dedicate your life and walk in life to the Lord and are ready to “take the plunge”, so to speak.

But, first let me explain, “What is Baptism?”
