Israeli Mayor Says Netanyahu Abandoned Border Town, Reveals Hezbollah Damage: ‘40% Houses Destroyed

The mayor of Israeli border town of Metula has accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of abandoning his town. The town has braved repeated attacks by Hezbollah which has been pounding several border areas in northern Israel. “Forty percent of residents’ houses have been damaged, almost 200 houses were burned in the last eight months… The Israeli government has disappeared, the prime minister is probably busy with other things,” the mayor told Army Radio, as per Times of Israel.
