Woman Gets Pinned By Hospital Security After Trying To Sneak Her Purse Past Them

Posted • June 23, 2024: Portland- Security guards pinned a woman to the ground at Randall Children's Hospital after she tried to get her purse past security. "I put it through the detector and as they started to open it, I said I’ll empty my purse so that you can see everything that's in there, but I'm not comfortable with you handling my bag." She said she was particular about her purse because it contained money for her daughter's birthday party. Then things escalated “I have a 3-year-old daughter and she started to run down the hallway and so as she was running down the hall I called for her to come here. And then I started to walk towards her the man then stepped up and he put his hand on my chest," she said.

"That's when he started to try to choke slam me and then that's when the video started," she said. She said she was put in handcuffs and held by security for hours. Police arrived but did not charge her with a crime. She says she was attacked. “I have bruises all over my arms. I have some scratches on my chest. Oh and see that and on my rib cage. I have a pretty big bruise from where they kneed me.”
