Exactly one year ago, on June 23, 2023, Russia found itself on the verge of chaos. Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner PMC, accused the Ministry of Defense of the attack on Wagner’s camps and announced a “march of justice” to Moscow.

The Ministry of Defense regarded this as a provocation, and Putin called it a stab in the back.
