Verse 1:

We stole the fruit and you climbed the tree
Took me 22 years to find the belief
In my hour of darkness, in my moment of grace
I stood in silence and I saw the saviors face

You walked a path of shame, betrayed by your friends
They placed a crown of thorns and mocked you in the end
Abandoned and alone as you took your final walk
